Registering with ASA National is quick and easy!All teams request the class they want to compete in for Championship Play. The classification they have selected is subject to change by their District Commissioners.
The Classification Board meets on Sunday, June 12th, 2 p.m. APPEALS MUST BE MADE TO THE BOARD THROUGH THEIR DISTRICT COMMISSIONER. Final appeals are made to your Executive Committee and their decision is FINAL. Teams and players may participate in more than one division of play. Teams must play in the same class as the team was entered in championship play.
District Commissioners use these criteria in determining what class you participate in championship play:
- League participation
- Invitational tournaments
- District play - MUST play in district tournament to be eligible for pick-up player or for team to play in State Tournaments, unless district commissioner exempts you from district play. If a team coach recruits players in formation of his team he must play in A-B Division Play.
- Qualifiers - MUST play in district tournament and two qualifiers; Pepsi Challenge, AR Classic, others are listed on web page; www.arasa.org
- Won-Loss Record must be submitted to you district commissioner
